Haul-out and daily hardstand costs are comparatively low, making it an attractive alternative to some of the larger marinas around the North Island. Once your boat is on the hardstand, it can be positioned directly outside our workshop, giving our technicians easy access to the engine and driveline.
For customers who normally keep their boat in the Whangamata, Pauanui, Tairua or wider Coromandel area, this can make major servicing or mechanical work considerably easier to arrange.
Marine Power Systems at Whangamata Marina
Our Whangamata facility is a purpose-equipped marine workshop located within the marina's haul-out and hardstand area.
It is not a traditional walk-in workshop and our technicians are not permanently based at Whangamata. Instead, work is scheduled in advance so we can ensure the right technician, equipment and parts are available for your boat.
For walk-in sales and parts, customers should continue to visit our Kopu workshop where we have a comprehensive showroom and parts inventory.
We regularly travel between our Kopu workshop and Whangamata, and there is no additional travel charge for customers having work carried out at Whangamata Marina.
This means you can access the same Marine Power Systems team and technical expertise without having to bring your boat to Kopu.
